 Justice Shah: If a Married Son Can Get Father’s Job, Why Not a Daughter? ⚖️

 

🚨 Big Decision! The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ruled that a married daughter has the same right as a son to take her father’s government job after his death.

🔹 What Was the Case?
Zahida Parveen was removed from her job after her father passed away because the KP government claimed her marriage made her ineligible.

🔹 What Did the Court Say?
✅ "Which law says a married daughter cannot get a job?" – Justice Mansoor Ali Shah
✅ "If a married son can take his father’s job, why not a daughter?"

🔹 Why This Ruling Is Important:
✔️ Marriage does not take away a woman’s right to work.
✔️ Sons and daughters must be treated equally in job succession.
